CRAFT VICTORIA, MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, AUSTRALIA, 2012
Along with my residency at Harvest Workroom, I was in Melbourne to present a lecture at the "Craft and Design as a Career" event at Craft Victoria. I talked about my work at VOGUE Living, the move to Tokyo, and my current work here in Tokyo.
'HELLO SANDWICH AT CRAFT CUBED
We’re so excited to be inviting craft superstar Ebony Bizys of Hello Sandwich to participate in this year’s Craft Cubed festival. Flying all the way from Tokyo, Ebony will be presenting two workshops at Craft during her stay as well as speaking at our popular annual seminar Craft and Design as a Career.
Although the Hello Sandwich sold out within their for day on sale, you can still get a (figurative) bite of Hello Sandwich by booking to attend Craft and Design as a Career on Thursday 16 August! Ebony will be speaking about her career experiences and how she went from Art Director at Vogue Living to living in Tokyo, where she made the decision to go freelance.
Was it difficult? How did she do it? Answers to all of these questions (and more!) will be answered at the seminar and at the Q&A session at the end of Ebony’s talk.'
